The 2019 Event programme is now live and ready to be viewed.

Every year, the Event provides the opportunity for those working in and with the NHS in Scotland to come together to:

  • consider challenges;
  • share best practice;
  • share innovative approaches; and
  • take away tools and techniques.

These all ultimately help delegates to deliver the highest quality of care and to support them in their various roles. This year’s Event will feature something for everyone.

We will have four keynote plenary sessions scheduled across the two days as well as twelve parallel sessions on 30 May which are then repeated on the 31 May. Again this year delegates will have the opportunity to attend spotlight sessions which will feature a number of 15 minute presentations from a wide range of organisations.

New this year are mini plenary sessions, which will bring something dynamic and engaging to the two day Event. These sessions will run concurrently with parallel and spotlight sessions and must be booked onto at point of registering for this year’s Event.

The ever popular facilitated poster presentations will return and delegates get the opportunity to meet with poster authors and hear about their projects during the presentations. Please note these sessions can be selected as an alternative to attending a mini plenary, parallel or spotlight session. Over 200 posters will be on display at the Event having been selected through a judging process to represent the very best examples of quality improvement in each of the poster categories – person-centred, safe, effective, infrastructure, health of the population, value and sustainability and integrated care.

Places go quickly so make sure you register for the Event now. When registering, please view the full programme which includes descriptors for all the sessions – these will help make decisions on the sessions  to attend that you feel are most relevant to your area of work.
