The workshop, which will be held on 24^th April at Edinburgh’s Apex Waterloo Place Hotel will help you better understand the funding and opportunity available.  In addition to hearing more about the Wave 2 call for proposals, you’ll have the chance to have one to one meetings with KTN, SE and Innovate UK colleagues as well as network with potential partners.

The Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund aims to bring together the UK’s world-leading research with business to meet the major industrial and societal challenges of our time. The fund is part of the UK Government’s £4.7 billion increase in research and development over 4 years and designed to ensure that research and innovation takes centre stage in the Government’s Industrial Strategy.

Wave 2 Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund – From data to early diagnosis and precision medicine

There are fatal diseases that take years to develop before they present symptoms.  The challenge is to combine the wealth of data created by UK researchers with real-world evidence from our health service.  This will allow industry to create new products and services that will diagnose diseases earlier and help clinicians choose the best treatment for individual patients. This will save lives and set the UK at the forefront of a growing global market in diagnostics.
