uFraction8 wins Higgs EDGE Prize

Heriot-Watt University spin out company, uFraction8 wins Higgs prize for Technology and Innovation in the Scottish EDGE business competition.

The company, which was co-founded earlier this year by Dr Brian Miller and Dr Monika Tomecka, triumphed over some of the country’s most exciting business ventures to win the £100,000 prize for its innovative filtration system capable of separating bacterial and other biological cells from liquid.
