Biotech firm’s test for HIV patients makes world approval list

Scottish life sciences company Omega Diagnostics has been boosted by the inclusion of its test aimed at HIV sufferers on a global procurement list.

The Alva-based company, which specialises in tests for allergy, food intolerance and infectious diseases, said its Visitect CD4 Advanced Disease test will be included on The Global Fund procurement list.
