University of Glasgow Bids to Host UK’s Second 5G Technology Demonstrator

The University of Glasgow is bidding to host the UK’s second ‘living-lab’. The 5G technology demonstrator will support the development of high-tech applications including technology allowing surgeons to preform operations remotely.

The new demonstrator is one part of Glasgow University’s £1billion, 10-year expansion plans.
