King honours Scots in health, care and science

Thirty eight people who work and volunteer across health, social care and life sciences are recognised today in the King’s birthday honours list. Amongst them are several members of Scottish Ambulance Service other NHS frontline teams, health campaigners, patient advocates, foster carers and care providers.

Those honoured for their work and volunteering in health, social care and life sciences, who live in Scotland and whose citation makes specific mention of health, care or life sciences, are:
