Scottish Life Sciences Strategy 2011

Our mission

We aim to double the economic contribution made by Scotland's Life Sciences industry by 2020 to £6.2 billion in turnover and £3 billion in Gross Value-Added.

Our vision

We want our Life Sciences industry to be a signifi cant contributor to Scotland's sustainable economic growth and to establish Scotland as the location of choice for Life Sciences businesses.

We will concentrate our efforts on three core areas where we consider the greatest impact can be made toward achieving our 2020 Vision.
